Washington County Housing Authority (WCHA) is currently in the process of changing its Agency Plan (Annual/5-year plan) in conjunction with the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act. Changes to the Agency Plan, once approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), will guide the WCHA in serving the needs of low- income and very low- income families beginning October 1, 2024.
In addition, annually the Housing Authority is required to submit to HUD a companion Capital Fund program in which the Authority’s short- and long-term public housing capital improvement needs are identified.
The proposed changes to the Plan and all supporting documents will be available for review and inspection by the public at the principal office of WCHA located at 100 Crumrine Tower, Franklin Street, Washington PA 15301 beginning April 24, 2024 to June 11, 2024 during normal business hours.
